In Russia, protesting against the war in Ukraine can cost you 7 years in prison—the same sentence as for serious crimes like robbing a bank. Using this comparison, and as if it were a scene from a movie, we created “The Robbery,” a campaign to gather signatures and demand the release of over 200 people imprisoned for exercising their freedom of expression.
